January 28th - Horsemen's cook out. Bring a dish to our yearly Horsemen's cookout at the Ranch. It is Pot luck and all are invited to hang out by our barn fire eat everyones food and share stories. It starts around 12pm till about 4pm. Feb. 26th - Clinic: Equine Emergencies. A discussion on common emergencies that the horse owner might encounter. Common signs, what you should do (and not do) and what happens when the vet gets there. Includes topics such as lacerations, eyes, colic, choke, laminitis, trailering accidents and barnfires. $15 a person with a light lunch included. Starts at noon. Space is limited. March 11th - Clinic: Lyme Disease. Signs, diagnosis and prevention. Lyme disease is very controversial in the equine world as some believe in it and some do not. What causes Lyme disease, how do we know if it really is Lyme and what can you do to prevent it? $5.00 Starts at noon. [ Lunch donated by speaker] May 12th - Native American Blessing of the Horses, 9:30 AM Join us for our annual Blessing of the Horses ceremony. Mimosa brunch to follow. $18 per person. March 25th - Clinic: Equine Anatomy & Colic. A visual tour of the horse's GI system. Ever wonder why your horse colic's? Take a tour through the gastrointestinal system and watch some animations of what happens to the GI tract when a horse colics. $15 a person with a light lunch included. Starts at noon. Space is limited. July 28th - 2nd Annual National American Cowboy Day Western Story Telling , Northeast Six Shooters demo, Chicken BBQ, Line dancing. Ticket on sale for $25.00. October 5-7, 2012 -Cowboy Rendezvous. Don't for get to put October 5-7 on your calender for the Cowboy Rendezvous!
