Letter from Local 401, SEIU
After hearing rave reviews from one of our Executive Board members (participates in horse riding at Stepping Stone Ranch) we decided to hold our - Local 401, SEIU's summer outing at your facility. Although the setting differed from what our members have been accustomed to, we all enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious food. It was nice to see how your family worked together to assure every aspect of our function went well.

Thank you for the tour of SSR's grounds and the People Barn - the rustic setting would be perfect for any function. I personally enjoyed my visit with the horses as they're such beautiful animals. You exude your love in what you do and it is definitely displayed in your work.

Kudos to you and your family!

Thank you again on behalf of Local 401, SEIU~

Happy Thanksgiving to all and kudos to Heidi and Darrell for our wonderful Thanksgiving celebration! The succotash was to die for! Good food, good friends!

Heidi,

Thank you so much for hosting that drill class last saturday. I had a blast. Even saw my horse licking his lips from time to time because he had to really think about what I was asking. Fun stuff. I hope we made you proud. It's hard teaching people, but I know I was trying with my horse.
Can't wait for the next one.

Hi Heidi & Darrell,

Thank you so much for a great weekend. You two must be exhausted. It was a blast, can't wait until next year. I'm so happy you had such a good turn out of people. Next year we're doing the posse ride. Thanks again. See you Memorial Day weekend!

Howdy ya'll,

I'm Hailley and SSR was the best and most fun thing I have ever done!

SO AWESOME!!!!!

I want to go every day for the rest of my life!

Hailley

Dear Heidi,

I went on an hour and half trail ride through the beautiful trails of your property. My beautiful and comfortable horse, Dakota, was perfect for my semi-beginner, out of the saddle for years, experience. I highly recommend the hour and half trail ride - I could have ridden all day!! I can't wait until I get another chance to come back and ride. Thank you for a perfect ending to my August, 2008 vacation week.

Dear Heidi & Darrell,

We had a great time. Please be sure to give the three Todds my thanks for the loan of the sixgun, so I didn't have to work with a non-firing weapon. Looking forward to shooting it out with them again next year.

And looking forward to next year's Rendezvous. It was fantastic!

Jim

Dear Heidi & Darrell,

Thank you again for making our visit to Stepping Stone Ranch such a memoriable and pleasurable trip. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated and thank you for going above and beyond making my friends birthday so special. The delicious dinner you prepared on Saturday was out of this world and made our bellies content for our Sunday trail ride. We enjoyed your stories and you have two delightful daughters.

You have a beautiful farm and I hope you continue with your overnight rides and cowboy roundavue weekends since farms like yours are nonexistant, atleast on the east coast.

We will spread the word to our horsey friends to come and visit Stepping Stone Ranch and I'm still working on trying to get someone to join me this October.

Keep the passion and keep smiling, you have made Stepping Stone Ranch a farm where anyone could come and have a great time!

Happy Trails!
